AmorphoUs Dance Co.

From 2012 to 2016 I served as co artistic director of Providence Rhode Island's AmorphoUs Dance.

In 2012 several of my collaborators and I founded The Collage Collective, company members came and went and next we became Feral Dance. Finally by 2015 the company I helped to found settled on a permanent name and can now be seen throughout Providence and South Eastern New England performing under the name AmorphUs Dance Projects. Works have explored topics from elevator etiquette, socially acceptable behavior in restaurants and kids sitting in desks at schools. Created with an intentional lack of hierarchy, the company’s artistic process is consensus based. All choreographic choices are made in a round table format between company dancers.

Work has been shown at AS220 Works in Process, Providence, RI, The Rope Works, New Bedford MA, South Middlesex Correctional Facility, Framingham, MA,  Near and Far, Woods Hole MA, NACHMO Boston, Ten Tiny Dances at PVD Fest, Providence RI, AS220's Modern Movement Festival 2017, and Ten Tiny Dances at the Zeiteron Theater in New Bedford Mass.
